For Madhya Pradesh, no Cranopygia species was ever reported and for the neighbouring Maharashtra only Cranopygia bhallaie is described by Srivastava (but on iNat there are 3 morphospecies from Maharashtra present). This specimen looks like a new species of Cranopygia, the reddish elytrae are also unique:
