Dendroiketes is a genus with 3 described species – one from Sri Lanka, one from New Guinea and the Bismarck Islands and one from the Philippines (Steinmann 1989b, Srivastava 2013). However, on iNaturalist are several observations of Dendroiketes from the Indian mainland (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala):
Since it's close to Sri Lanka and the species looks similar to D. corticinus, we identified them as D. corticinus, with the notice, that it could be a closely related, yet undescribed species.
There is recent publication with record and pictures of D. corticinus from South of India (Karnataka) which I just found:
